Meeting Update

On behalf of the Academic Consortium Board of Directors and Conference Organizers:

It is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Academic Consortium’s International Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. This difficult decision was made out of significant concern for the health and safety of our attendees, staff, partners, and our communities.

The Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health’s leadership has been closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Based on the latest guidance from public health officials and the travel bans implemented by different institutions, it became clear to us that cancellation was the right course of action. It is difficult to cancel what we have anticipated would be our strongest conference yet. We thank our community for their understanding and commitment to the success of the Members Meeting and International Congress – from the dozens of volunteer leaders to the attendees, the presenters, sponsors, and exhibitors who shared their time, expertise, collaboration, and leadership to make it happen, we sincerely appreciate you all.

Consistent with our registration policy, all registration fees paid will be refunded. Refunds will be processed over the next 30 days. There is no need to request refunds; they will be processed automatically. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. We are not able to redirect refunds. In addition, we urge attendees to expedite the cancellation of travel reservations and hotel reservations made outside the International Congress block at the Hilton immediately. If you made your Hilton reservation as part of the International Congress discounted block, you do not need to cancel your reservation; the Hilton will cancel those reservations and send you a confirmation of the cancellation to the email on record. Pre-paid reservation deposits will be issued within 5-7 business days. If you have any issues or don’t receive a cancellation confirmation prior to your scheduled check-in, we recommend contacting the Hilton Cleveland Downtown directly at number on your confirmation email or 216.413.5000.

Looking ahead, we all know that great things happen when the community comes together and connects at the International Congress. This conference is a valuable event for our research community. We are working hard on means to provide opportunities to foster these connections over the next few weeks, months, and year, and will send you an update as soon as possible.
