Susan Luria serves as Director of the University Hospitals Connor Integrative Health Network, a system wide initiative focused on enhancing patient care and outcomes through the effective integration of evidence based complementary medicine with traditional medicine. In her role, Susan serves as a strategic, business and operational partner in the effort with a significant focus on reducing barriers to access for integrative therapies.
Prior to joining University Hospitals, Susan served as a long-term consultant in the areas of early stage venture formation, business unit and team development, resource consolidation and the identification and execution of mutually beneficial strategic partnerships. Susan's focus areas have been in the areas of healthcare services and economic development. In 2013, she joined University Hospitals Health System where she served as Startup Executive Director for the Harrington Discovery Institute and transitioned to her current role in 2015.
Susan is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received a Master's of Business Administration degree from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Bellefaire Jewish Children's Bureau and the Integrative Health Policy Consortium, as a member of the Policy Working Group of the Academic Consortium for Integrative Health and Medicine and a member of the North Coast Angel Fund. She is a distance runner and avid equestrian and credits integrative medicine with her ability to pursue these passions year after year.
