Molly Roberts, MD, MS is an Integrative Physician with the Institute for Health and Healing ( She is triply board-certified in Family Medicine, Integrative Holistic Medicine and Nutritional Medicine. In addition, she is on the Board of Directors for the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine ( and is Chair of the Academy's Membership Leadership Council as well. Dr. Molly is the Past President of the American Holistic Medical Association and Past Chairman of the Board for the Integrative Medicine Consortium. Her expertise is in bringing mind, body, emotions and spirit into the mix for more deep and lasting healing.


Dr. Roberts began her career providing psychological evaluation and counseling for people recovering from surgery and job-related injuries. She also provided emergency psychiatric crisis counseling. She has a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Vocational Evaluation along with further PhD work in Rehabilitation Psychology before switching her educational path toward medicine. Then she received her medical degree and completed her Family Practice residency and internship at the University of Arizona. As a physician in Tucson, AZ, she co-founded her own healing center (LightHearted Medicine) and worked as a holistic physician at Canyon Ranch, a world class health resort. 


Dr. Roberts is a well-respected public speaker, workshop and retreat facilitator and former radio host. She is the author of Blackwell Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Fast Facts for Medical Practice and The ION Handbook, a practitioner's guide to Functional Medicine testing. She wrote a blog for the American Holistic Medical Association and is a periodic guest columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle
