John Sacco completed his undergraduate and medical school studies at Washington and Lee University and The Medical College of Virginia, respectively. He subsequently completed an Internal Medicine residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center/Morristown Memorial Hospital and Radiation Oncology training at NYU Medical Center. He completed advanced training in Medical Acupuncture with UCLA/Helms Medical Institute in 1999 and the University of Arizona Fellowship in Integrative Medicine in 2009. Since 1989, he has been practicing a combination of clinical radiation oncology and, more recently, integrative oncology. He also co-facilitates the Mind-Body Medicine program at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and serves as a core faculty member at the UC Center for Integrative Health and Wellness. His areas of interest include acupuncture for pain management, functional medicine, mindfulness, and the human microbiome.
